Universal Hotel Cervia, Cervia

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were exceptionally pleasant and hospitable, but my room was a pokey place up in the attic with no window or view. While the room was a bit small and had very little in it, the service from the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, especially being near the beach, but it was a bit crowded. The dining offered a wide selection, although it could be a bit more Italian with some local dishes or vegetables. The facilities were sufficient for my needs.

The service, on the other hand, was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to help, from organizing hire cars to being genuinely nice and helpful. The location was perfect for my needs, close to the event venue in Cervia for the Festivaldanza 2013 with the Maltese Delegation, though it was a bit crowded. The dining experience was a highlight, with amazing choices and an endless supply of excellent coffee. However, the hotel lacked certain facilities, and the price felt a bit steep for what was offered.
